Founded in 2021, Frednel is a specialist consultancy serving the telecommunications sector, offering expertise in Cost Management, Commercial Contract Management, and Project Management.

Introducing the Management Team

Guy Arnel, FITP
Founder and Managing Director
Guy Arnel is a seasoned leader in telecommunications with over 25 years of international experience delivering complex, high-value programmes across Australia, Ireland, Japan and the UK. As Founder and Managing Director of Frednel, he brings a sharp commercial focus and a hands-on approach to solving the technical and operational challenges that define modern telecoms rollout.
Throughout his career, Guy has led the planning and execution of large-scale mobile network deployments across 3G, 4G and 5G technologies. His expertise spans Cost and Commercial Management, Project Delivery and Contract Strategy. His work is underpinned by a strong analytical mindset and a reputation for collaborative leadership.
Prior to establishing Frednel in 2021, Guy held senior roles with major operators and vendors, including serving as Project Director during the London 2012 Olympic Games and leading the UK’s first successful 5G commercial bid. He has managed end-to-end network upgrade and swap-out programmes, negotiated high-value commercial agreements and delivered results under intense operational scrutiny.
A recognised figure in the industry, Guy is a Fellow of the Institute of Telecommunications Professionals (FITP), and his contributions have earned multiple industry awards. Clients value his direct, results-driven style, his ability to bring structure to complexity, and his commitment to driving performance across every stage of a programme.
Under Guy’s leadership, Frednel provides executive teams with a trusted partner who delivers commercial clarity, strategic alignment and consistent results.

Shelley Fredman
General Manager
Shelley brings over 30 years of expertise in advertising, marketing, and retail, where her organisational skills, business acumen, and results-driven mindset have been key to her success. Her career includes working with Australia’s top-selling magazines and newspapers, where she honed her ability to manage complex projects and deliver exceptional outcomes.
Beyond her professional achievements, Shelley has demonstrated her commitment to leadership and community through numerous Board roles. She has served twice as President of two International Women’s Clubs and held Board positions at leading International Schools. Her dedication to volunteer work continues, as she actively contributes her time and expertise to various community organisations.
Now, as General Manager at Frednel, Shelley applies her leadership skills and operational expertise to support the company’s continued growth and success.
